Spring Weather Work Ceremonies

Spring Weather Worker Ceremonies
Hosted by the Weather Workers, these are closed, specialized gatherings, with open ceremonies of gratitude to the Weather Beings—divine forces that govern the rain, winds, and seasons, sustaining life and agriculture.
For generations, Graniceros have honored this sacred relationship through biannual ceremonies, offering prayers, music, and traditional offerings at sacred sites. These rituals fulfill the prophecy of Don Lucio Campos Elizalde, ensuring the continuity of this ancient Nahua tradition.
Now led by Caporal Mayor Don David Wiley, this lineage remains strong. Each spring, Don David and the Tiemperos gather in Tepoztlán, Mexico, to honor the Weather Beings and express gratitude for the abundance and balance they bring.

Recovery Day: Honoring the Sacrifice and Service of Don David Wiley
During Recovery Days, Don David Wiley is not available for sessions or events. These days are dedicated to his vital recovery after serving as a conduit for the God of Fire. Each time Grandfather Fire calls him into the ether, Don David endures intense physical strain as his temperature rises and he enters a deep trance-like state. This powerful process comes with great risk, as he channels sacred wisdom from Divine to share with others.
