Spring Weather Worker Ceremonies
Hosted by the Weather Workers, these are closed, specialized gatherings, with open ceremonies of gratitude to the Weather Beings—divine forces that govern the rain, winds, and seasons, sustaining life and agriculture.
For generations, Graniceros have honored this sacred relationship through biannual ceremonies, offering prayers, music, and traditional offerings at sacred sites. These rituals fulfill the prophecy of Don Lucio Campos Elizalde, ensuring the continuity of this ancient Nahua tradition.
Now led by Caporal Mayor Don David Wiley, this lineage remains strong. Each spring, Don David and the Tiemperos gather in Tepoztlán, Mexico, to honor the Weather Beings and express gratitude for the abundance and balance they bring.
Pilgrimage to Iztaccíhuatl: Weather Ceremony with Don David - Don David Wiley and a dedicated group of graniceros pilgrimage up Iztaccíhuatl, one of Mexico’s most revered mountains. This living ceremony honors the ancient weather beings and renews our relationship with nature, Divine, and ancestral wisdom. To restore balance and deepen spiritual connection.
