Core of wisdom through timeless shamanic tradition
Diversity exists for a purpose – the thinking that there’s a way to “crack the code of these sacred traditions, plucking pearls of awakening from the hard shell of religious ritual and sacrifice” is enormous. Hardwired into our tonalli is an ancient pathway to provide authentic, sustainable connection within the form and the underlying substance of divine connection. Trying to promote some type of universalism is nothing more than a Western post-modern person’s attempt to maintain personal control, avoid supervision by another, more learned person, and maintain comfort and access with minimum commitment, the product of a materialistic society that says you can both have it all and in the way you want it: In other words, poor and lazy learners.
The desire for a “true global culture” masks the immature solution of not having to deal with our differences, even, as human beings.
This shows up in a hidden desire to have everyone agree with you, the same force that propelled Christian fundamentalism: If I convert you to my one religion then I won’t have any contradiction to my belief (not experience) that I may not have the “one truth”.
The paradoxical solution: accepting, exploring, and connecting through ancient traditions that resonate with our soul, yet respecting the VARIOUS paths.
Postmodern views are always trying to rewrite the foundational truths of how this realm works to improve life, efficiency, and conspicuity CONCEPTUAL ACCESS (remove the mystery, dumb down so you don’t have to think too hard, avoid conflict with any of the ego’s scared cows) but in the end is designed to promote a conspiring of blind endorsement of modern life and comfort, are an endorsement of a western- perspective superiority based on European age of reason methodology and a desire to declare that all of this is a templet of how the rest of the world should be under the standard of globalization: a true new American empire without having to own the real estate.
The idea of “religion” may take a sense of structure empty ritual, and blind adherence to precepts that are out of step without time.
The desire to unground ourselves from the laws of how the realm works by tracking the ancient wisdom of our ancestors hasn’t led us into a closer, more lovingly connected world, We, at least in this part of the world find ourselves in a materialistic pandics yet imprisoned in a disconnected and dissociative for Culture. Environment (down) economic (down) wee of chugs (up) morality decay, lying, managing break-up, etc.
